![]() Besides your typical Biters and Virals, you'll sometimes encounter special types of infected as well. These zombies are all over the city and become way more active during the night. Volatiles found in the GRE Hospitals can have these, as well as Revenants, Chargers, and Demolishers. Bombers Goons Volatile Revenant While Dying Light 2 features human enemies, you will mainly be dealing with hordes of infected. Usually found on the buff Goon Infected that like to hang around at Convoys' or the Bolter Infected that are part of the Night Encounters. Start a Chase at Night to get an infinite amount of these things to spawn. Virals are the Infected that run at Aiden and are extra aggressive. Gained primarily by killing Virals or Howlers. In any case, here is an easy way to get Trophies of each rarity. The best methods involve going out at night or exploring in the dark, so maybe wait until the UV Light is unlocked. DL2 players will need a ton of these to get their Blueprints to max, yet many don't know the best way to go about getting them. The Infected can drop these items on death, and there are specific ways to get each one. In order to upgrade any one of these Blueprints, players are going to need Infected Trophies.a lot of them. So at least until the Paraglider is unlocked, players should avoid doing too much grinding within the Bazaar area.ĭying Light 2 has a new system for upgrading Blueprints, as it's all done at the Craftmaster NPCs now. And, because things like the Paraglider (unlocked right after reaching the Central Loop) and Grappling Hook (unlocked at the VNC Tower) aren't available for a while, players are only experiencing part of the open-world of Old Villedor as they're intended to. Sure, players are "locked out" of the next area of the city until they complete a certain amount of the story, but there's still so much to do in the starting area. Virals are humans that have only very recently succumbed to the infection. Virals are a common infected-type in Dying Light and Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It chases you relentless until it catches up, then tears and bites at you like a wild animal. Once it finds its prey, every muscle in its body instinctively contracts in mad pursuit. They also lack any hair, and are dumber than Biters.Any completionist out there knows this feeling all too well. The Viral is constantly fretful, wracked by spasms. ![]() Their clothing consists of torn coats, shirts, worn out pants, and occasionally a dirty beany. Using the UV light on them will also decrease their health slightly, as well as stop them right in their tracks. ![]() But like usual, they can be dismembered to hinder their attacks, disable their ability to bite, and decrease their movement speed. ![]() They can sometimes carry weapons, which makes them slightly more dangerous. They are also easily distracted by anything that makes noise, such as Firecrackers, explosions, etc. ![]() Depending on the difficulty your playing, the number of the zombies can vary, along with the amount of health they have, and the amount of damage they can deal. Like the Biters, they are easy to kill when they are alone, but often travel in a group. They can mostly be seen roaming the streets of Villedor during the day, with some being hardly seen in darker areas. If a survivor is far from the infected, they will let out an agitated roar and run wildly at them, pushing any other Degenerates out of the way.ĭegenerates are like Biters, but they are significantly weaker and slower. The more sunlight the Biters received, the weaker they will become (unless they can avoid the sun's UV rays).ĭegenerates really aren't a dangerous threat, but you still have to be vigilant because they often come in hordes, which can make anyone who fight them often exhausted.Įasily distinguished by their withered clothing and slow shamble, Degenerates can be easily dispatch with blunt or sharp weapons. Degenerates are very weak with pieces of meat falling off of them. The Degenerate is a final stage of "evolution" of the infected life cycle, as they are Biters that were exposed to sunlight for a long time. Degenerates are the most common Monster-type in Dying Light 2 Stay Human. ![]()
